We are very proud of the combined efforts of our students, teachers, parents, and administrators in making Cheyenne Traditional School an exemplary school. Cheyenne Traditional School offers a challenging curriculum with high expectations. As a school of choice, we realize that much thought goes into selecting a school for your child.
Our expectations for parents include supporting teachers and students in the learning process. Cheyenne Traditional School parents volunteer hundreds of hours per year. Parental support also includes supporting your child with homework, nightly reading, and good attendance. Parents are asked to sign a commitment to support the Cheyenne Traditional School philosophy. This philosophy includes: high expectations for all, parental commitment, involvement and support, a focus on academics, maximum use of academic time, teacher directed and textbook based instruction, sequential skills-based core curriculum, phonics (Spalding Total Language Arts Program), a dress code, and an elevated grading scale.
